After Botox injections: Do not rub or massage the treated areas for at least 24 hours after getting your Botox injections, since this could help prevent the toxin from spreading to a different area. You can resume most normal activities right after the procedure.
Minimal downtime, quick recovery

For the first two hours, you should keep your head level and avoid bending it forward. Avoid lying down for the next six hours, and don't do any heavy exercise for at least a day. You should not take ibuprofen or any blood-thinning medications, which could increase bruising at the injection sites.
You should start to see results from Botox injections within a few days after treatment. Still, it can take several days to see full results. Botox results can last three months or longer, depending on the problem and treatment area. You'll need regular follow-up injections to maintain the effect.
