What is BBL Laser treatment?

BBL Laser treatments restore and smooth your skin to make it more vibrant.

The BBL Laser uses intense pulsed light or IPL therapy to target and correct specific skin concerns on your face, neck, arms, hands, back, and legs as an effective phototherapy treatment. Our aesthetic experts at Ocean Drive Med Spa will tailor your BBL treatment plan during your consultation. In addition, you can expect some skin conditions such as rosacea and severe sun damage to require additional treatments for optimal results.

Am I a Good Candidate for BBL Laser treatment?

Consistent sun exposure without proper sun protection can leave your skin dry, dull, and over time dark spots appear because of age, hormones, acne scarring, or significant sun exposure. The BBL Laser treatment is usable for all areas of the body. You can expect three to six treatments to see your desired results. If you have tanned or darker skin tones, discuss your laser treatment options with your aesthetic expert as BBL Laser may cause pigmentation changes. Additionally, it is essential to discuss your health history with your medical expert, especially if you are prone to cold sore or herpes breakouts. Antiviral medication can be prescribed prior to your treatments to avoid skin infection flare-ups.

BBL Laser Procedure

During your treatment with the BBL Laser Vero Beach patients' skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream is applied. Typically, the procedure takes between 10 and 30 minutes. The BBL laser device uses rapid bursts of high-intensity laser light to stimulate your skin to regenerate skin cells.

Recovery & Results

Your minimally invasive Renuva treatment will take approximately 30 minutes.

Your aesthetic expert applies a moisturizer after your treatment. You may appear sunburned for a few hours after your session. If you need to return to daily activities, you may apply makeup to conceal any redness. You will be sensitive to sunlight for up to two weeks, so it is important to wear broad-spectrum sunscreen. For treated dark spots, your treated areas will turn darker and peel off in seven days to two weeks. Then, your skin will feel smoother and softer and look brighter.
