Radiesse is a non-hyaluronic acid dermal filler that offers the best of both worlds from a dermal filler perspective.
Radiesse offers immediate results upon injection and then causes an internal stimulation of collagen growth, known as collagenases. With Radiesse, the long-term outcome is created by your body’s organic response to the Radiesse molecule, making the outcome as natural as possible. This makes it our filler of choice for almost all patients requiring cheek lifting through nonsurgical means. Radiesse is also used for brow lifts, temple hollow corrections, and the elevation of sagging jowl lines. Hyperdilute Radiesse is Radiesse thinned with saline and lidocaine and injected into sagging skin.

All of our derma-fill injection patients are evaluated by an experienced provider. During your Vero Beach Radiesse consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your aesthetic goals and expectations.
Your provider will discuss your treatment options and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
After you and your provider agree to a course of treatment with Radiesse Vero Beach patients will be numbed with our topical anesthetic cream for approximately 20 minutes. After, we cleanse your face to remove the numbing cream and to gently exfoliate your skin.
You are then injected in each area of your face where rejuvenation is desired. During the injections, you may feel slight pressure and some mild discomfort as the product is slowly and gently injected. The pressure and discomfort are temporary and are alleviated once the injection is complete. A combination of massage and cold therapy is used to maximize your comfort and minimize swelling.
Radiesse results are instantaneous. You will continue to see results for up to 12 weeks as your body builds collagen around the Radiesse molecules. In our experience, Radiesse Plus® will last a minimum of one year and up to two years after injection, with an average longevity of 15 months.
Dermal fillers are one of the safest cosmetic treatments available, especially when performed by a board-certified medical professional. You will be given specific aftercare instructions at the end of treatment, which usually lasts less than a lunch hour, but you can return to regular activities immediately after your Radiesse injection. However, it is recommended to wait until the next day to return to exercise or strenuous activities and to avoid the sun and tanning beds. Side effects can include bruising, redness, swelling, pain, and itching at the site of injection.
Most dermal filler procedures can be done in 30 minutes or less.
We use numbing cream on the skin before the injection. Radiesse Plus® also has 0.3% lidocaine, a numbing agent used to reduce discomfort inside the gel itself. As a result, Radiesse Plus® can be safely injected in a comfortable fashion with minimal discomfort.
